Interesting person

I met and interviewed this interesting young chap named James J Jamie today, 24, who lives in the 'Isle of White'. Today we discussed his interesting life, including his hobbies, his current job and his dream job, his favourite food, drink and shop. I started this interview with a simple question asking how his day was, making sure the interview didn't feel formal. He replied with good, but I haven't eaten today.  James J Jamie works as a sand blaster, he doesn't mind working in this role, however he would much rather work as a demolisher as it is his dream job.  He enjoys eating glass as its his all time favourite, he likes to eat at any pub, as he loves getting in to fights by smashing people with the glass from his drink of beer. I also found out that he is anti-plastic which helped me to understand his passion for glass.

Open & Closed Questions Friday: Open and closed questions are two types of questions that are asked, but in this case they are used used in interviews. Both questions are used repeatedly but have different answers. Open questions are questions that are open for for an answer, and answers that can have multiple different alternatives. However, closed questions are questions entirely based on a fixated answer, being yes or no, good or bad. The answer to a closed question starts with either yes/no or good/bad, however, after one of these has been said they interviewee can expand the on the answer with the knowledge they have on it specifically. In most interviews that you see on TV/online the majority of questions asked from the interviewer are closed questions. The reason for this, is because the interviewer is trying to get a simple answer without expanding it, which I find very interesting. Monday: I learnt how to interview someone that I don't know or have never met....
